This business was born from my love of crafting & fashion.  I’ve been crafting for many years & I’ve always been a fashionista.  As you view the images of my work, you’re sure to appreciate the time & effort that went into each unique piece. Fashionistas & Dapper Dans alike will want to wear & adorn them.  It’s been a joy & challenge upscaling, repurposing, & crafting.  It would be my honor to serve you.

Our Story
My Mommie & Daddy were my 1st teachers. So, it was my Mommie who taught me how to sew buttons on clothing. I will never forget how she started with the needle & threaded the head. After threading, she taught me how to secure it with 2 to 3 knots at the end. To this day, I still practice that method.Â

Coming up with a name for this business wasn't difficult. My Daddy also told me, "Look up what you need or want to know." Again, that is a practice I keep near & dear to my heart, and my Mommie still has a love for words. Incorporating what my parents laid down as foundational tools, Knot Mines (of course a play on words) was birthed.

Getting inspiration from content creators online & encouragement from one Sissy at Church. I just began with creating embellishments on Ties. My love of crafting has helped me to really step outside the box & that's if I were ever in a box.Â
